Alice driving with Jim navigating.   She starts by taking the Z06 up to about 140 MPH and then goes through the only known speed trap at 134.1 MPH which was the six mile point of the race.

On take off you hear her cranking the Z06 up to almost 7,000 RPM to gain speed.  Cars were spaced 30 seconds apart.   She was about 135 MPH when she shifted to fifth gear.  We ran the entire race in fifth gear.

While it's hard to tell from the video the high speeds we are traveling, the terrain changes more quickly than the navigator can keep up.  When Jim was driving, Alice was three miles behind when she was navigating telling him there was a left sweeper coming up and he could see it was a right sweeper.  The appropriate correction was made to the course notes  and speed adjusted resulting in an increase over 10 MPH average on the return going through the checkered flag at approximately 130 MPH.  We were way too far ahead so we are working on timing for next year.   We'll  return in the Z06 at this point since it is already race prepared and proven.  We plan to work our way up to the 150 MPH average class but we're a long way from being there.  We have a lot to work on as far as skill and ability to time much more closely.   Notes will be considerably abbreviated as we move up in speed because there just isn't time to spend on notes at constant high speeds.
